Creating jewellery and sculpture from shoreline treasures

For many years Barb Leeson lived near, and beach combed the shores of Lake Erie. Amassing a large collection of beach glass, ceramics and other shoreline treasures. Leaning into her George Brown College ‘Jewellery Arts’ education from the early 90s she started creating jewellery and sculpture with her finds. This has expanded to making pieces from broken ceramics and glass that appealed to her.

She enjoys the design and fabrication challenges of working with each uniquely shaped piece she chooses.
