Carolyne beautifully captures and infuses her paintings with the very spirit of her subject. She paints with a heady combination of colour and bold form, tinted with a lightness of heart that’s easily transported from the canvas to the smile on your face as you view her work.

Carolyne is a graduate of the Ottawa School of Art. It was there that her love of expression through painting grew to include other medias such as sculpting, photography and illustration among others.

Although she explores many subjects through various medias, painting dogs remains her passion. It fills her innate need to spread happiness, while raising awareness and sometimes funds for man’s best friend.

Originally from Ottawa, she now lives in Carleton Place with her husband and dog Jolene, her muse, and the subject of her upcoming book. Carolyne has participated in several solo and group shows. Her paintings can be found in private collections in the UK, Europe, and North America.
