Photography as storytelling and poetry

Geoff’s photography connects his passion for birds and to the various personalities found within nature’s seasonal landscapes. He feels his relationship with nature is a form of providence for his well being. It is within this relationship he captures the images reflecting his artistic ambitions.

Throughout his life, Geoff has participated in camera clubs and educational opportunities helping him to nurture his craft; accompanied by a continual effort to hone his practice. He has travelled throughout Canada and to many destinations on the planet cataloguing images of some unique locales and wildlife.

Recently, Geoff has started to put words to his photography in the form of storytelling and poetry. He thinks all artists through their unique creations, are telling a story and writing is simply a natural extension of one’s artistic expression.

These photographs Geoff has chosen for the ACP website reflects a theme titled ‘Companions.’
