A creative journey with metal embossing

Jill started creating pottery and still finds carving in clay compelling. Jill then became interested in metal embossing after attending a workshop. Afterwards, it seemed to be a natural progression of her creative journey. The metal is very receptive to texture and design and has opened up another world of creative ideas for her.
Various media are used such as aluminum, copper or painted aluminum sheets to create wall hanging ready art. Lately colour has been introduced which presents new challenges but has opened up a new path in the creative journey.
Living in a rural setting provides ample opportunities to observe and photograph nature throughout the seasons and has become a huge source of inspiration in her art.
